WEDDING CEREMONY

1. Who's attending the wedding ceremony?


Lizzie and Dan have opted to have a small ceremony with the wedding party and their immediate family members. This will allow them to access size-limited areas of Mt. Rainier National Park to host the ceremony. They look forward to celebrating with more family and friends the following day at brunch and at the reception!

2. What day is the wedding?


The wedding ceremony is on the evening of Friday, July 19th 2024. The reception and more wedding events will happen the following day on Saturday, July 20th 2024.

3. Where is the wedding?


Lizzie and Dan will be getting married in the mountain landscape of Mt. Rainier National Park amongst the wildflowers of its meadows.

BRUNCH

4. Who is attending the brunch?


Lizzie and Dan want to welcome their family and friends visiting from out of town at their brunch. However, everyone is welcome! Please join them on the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel for a few hours with brunch at The Nest.

5. When and where is brunch?


Brunch is 10am-12pm at The Nest which is on the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel. Please join us any time between 10am and before we finish at 12pm!

6. What is the brunch dress code?


There is no strict dress code for brunch, but a summer dressy casual look is a great way to go if you're not sure. 

RECEPTION

7. Who is attending the reception?


Lizzie and Dan want to welcome their family and friends to celebrate their marriage with them the day of the reception. A small wedding ceremony will allow them to get married in Mt. Rainier National Park. They hope you can join them for a day of fun at their reception!

8. What day is the reception?


The reception is on the evening of Saturday, July 20th 2024.

9. Where is the reception?


Lizzie and Dan have reserved space at WithinSodo to celebrate with their family and friends. It's located in the Sodo neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. This part of town does not have any noise restrictions, so get ready to get loud!

10. How to get to the reception?


Lizzie and Dan will have transportation arranged starting at the Thompson Hotel, then moving to the Fairmont Hotel, and finally to the reception venue in SoDo. More details will be provided day-of at the hotels and on the website. Transportation will be available back to the hotels at the end of the evening.

If you plan on driving yourself, there is street parking available along 1st Ave S near the venue. You are also able to park in any available spots along Utah Ave S near the venue.

11. What is the dress code?


While Lizzie and Dan will attend in their ceremony dress, guests at the reception are invited to wear something dress-casual. Examples are:

Men
 Dress shirt, dress slacks, leather shoes, dressy boat shoes, no suit jacket or tie required. No jeans or cargo shorts.

Women
 Long sun dress, summer dress, skirt and button-up shirt, flats or heels. No jeans.

12. Are kids invited to the reception?


Absolutely! While there is no entertainment planned specifically for kids, they are more than welcome. The venue is split between the ground floor and the rooftop, each providing opportunities for a more relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.

The reception will run from 5pm - 12am.

13. What hotel are Lizzie and Dan staying at?


Lizzie and Dan are staying at the Thompson Hotel. You can reserve a room there using our room blocks while they're still available!
